Our Organization

The New England Americana Association is a community based organization, seeking to serve as a catalyst for the cohesion, promotion, growth, and recognition of the local roots music scene of New England. NEA organizes music festivals, hosts shows, produces recordings, and provides multiple services to the music community of musicians and music consumers.

Mission and Vision

The New England Americana Association exists in order to bringing greater coherence to and bring local and national attention to the roots music scene of New England. It’s mission is to create lasting collaborations between local artists and individuals in the industry in an effort to catalyze further creative endeavors, both within and beyond the New England Americana umbrella. This mission includes, but is not limited to, festival production/promotion, concert production/promotion, recording production, creation of online marketing and musician resources, and band agency/brokerage firm.
The New England Americana is established upon the values of fostering a strong, local, artistic community that works together; bringing national attention to a vast pool of roots music talent; encouraging the mentoring interaction between established entities and prospective entities; holding a responsibility in maintaining the lifeline of a musical tradition; and, creating community benefits which continue to surpass the direct oversight of New England Americana itself.
