The Donkey Show Celebrates Its 600th Performance

Cambridge, MA — The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) is pleased to announce that A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus’s hit production The Donkey Show will celebrate its 600th performance on April 18, 2015! To celebrate the occasion, OBERON is offering 600 dance floor tickets for $10 each during the month of April.

Since 2009, the celebrated smash hit The Donkey Show has provided the ultimate disco experience: A crazy circus of mirror balls and feathered divas, of roller skaters and hustle queens. The Donkey Show tells the story of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with classic 70s anthems. Directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director and Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland, Pippin), the enchanted forest of Shakespeare’s classic comedy becomes a glittery retro disco as lovers escape from reality to experience a night of dreams and abandon. After the show, the party continues into the night so you can live out your own fantasy of disco fever!

Through the years, The Donkey Show has:

·       Sprinkled over 80 pounds of glitter
