Van Hughes

Van Hughes is known for his work as an actor, singer/ instrumentalist, and composer. He starred in Green Day’s American Idiot on Broadway opposite Billie Joe Armstrong and led the US Tour. Other Broadway credits: Deaf West’s Spring Awakening, 9 to 5, and Hairspray. He appeared in both Sex and the City lms, Rachel Getting Married, and guest-starred on Law & Order: SVU, Royal Pains, and One Life To Live. He also composes music for lms, most notably Graham Skipper’s Sequence Break (2017). Van plays bass in the Brooklyn synth-pop band Teen Commandments. Education: BA (Theater) Fordham University.
