The A.R.T. is committed to creating theater that inspires public discourse and social change.
As a part of this commitment, we are always working to expand our reach within the community. Over the past season, the A.R.T. has expanded access to productions by providing free and highly subsidized tickets to over 8,200 students from the Boston metro region, a 47% increase in outreach since the prior year. We also partnered with 20 neighborhood agencies serving 1,200 underserved community members, of whom 70% were youth. We anticipate further increasing our investment in education and community programs this season.
The A.R.T. aims to incite meaningful dialogue and reflection with every production we stage, and the theater world is taking notice of our efforts. The nine Tony Awards bestowed upon All the Way, The Glass Menagerie, Pippin, and The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess since 2012 are a testament to the power of our work.
Your support is vital to us both on and off stage. Gifts to the A.R.T. provide over 50% of our needed support yearly, and fund our education and community programs fully. Thank you for helping us to use theater as a catalyst for a better world.Thank you for supporting the A.R.T.
