Created through a sense of patriotic responsibility in 1944, we continue that spirit of community support seventy years later, striving to create opportunities for artists to make and exhibit artwork, and to engage the public in that experience. With over 400 juried visual artist members, 20 exhibitions per year in two gallery spaces in the Harvard Square-area, and countless opportunities for enrichment, the Cambridge Art Association, above all, is a community of artists and arts supporters.
Our annual fundraising Gala raises funds to support our exhibition program, our operations and our youth outreach program, creating a community of inclusive creativity. Through our exhibitions and programs, we strive to engage artists and arts supporters of all backgrounds, creating a supportive, visual arts community.
