Borrowing themes from ancient myth, the show features songs by acclaimed composer/lyricist Todd Almond performed by rock icon Courtney Love and Mr. Almond. They are joined by a chorus of sirens and musicians. Directed by Kevin Newbury, this is a love song for the computer age and a product of the 24-hour news cycle that feeds on the stories of the anonymous “missing.” Begins October 2015 at OBERON. Captain Cat Coran tries to marry her son to the lofty Admiral Dame Jo-Anne but he falls in love with a lowborn sailress. This new, zany, version features versions of all the well-known H.M.S. Pinafore songs like "I'm Called Little Buttercup". A cast of ten act as their own orchestra. Begins March 2016 at OBERON. Single Tickets on Sale September 2.
We're Gonna Die
Written by Young Jean Lee
Directed by Shawn LaCount
It's time to get real and rock out about the one thing we all have in common: We're Gonna Die. Playwright Young Jean Lee (Straight White Men) blends storytelling, stand-up, music, and theater into a darkly weird song cycle that lets us know we may be miserable anticipating our demise, but at least we won't be alone. OBERON presents Company One Theatre's production of this smart and life-affirming contemplation of the inevitable. Begins April 2016 at OBERON. Single Tickets on Sale September 2.

And don’t miss A.R.T.’s popular The Donkey Show directed by Diane Paulus, continuing for its 7th season at OBERON every Saturday night.
