Text Submission

My story is a part of American history as my family and I represent some of the many immigrants who came to America in search of a better life. In the Declaration of Independence, what mattered was freedom from the British and rich white men being able to keep their property and power. We can hold this history as a predicament by addressing the fact that only one group of people wrote the Declaration of Independence and it was written to benefit them. Honest reckoning helps us realize that our society was built to benefit a certain group of people. Thank you for the Musical, it was great!
