Text Submission

My story is a part of American history because throughout all of the history waves of immigrants have come to America and not all have been able to successfully build a life here with a shot at the "American dream". Some have been deported others hide in the shadows and try to blend in while living here illegally because they have no documentation. While some immigrants have come to America illegally and others legally for various reasons, whether it's education, religious freedom, a chance at a better life, freedom from a tyrant, or because of war.
