Text Submission

Growing up in a new culture, language, and people was hard yet crucial, not just for me, but for American history as well. We are 'A Nation of Immigrants.' Everyone came from somewhere else whether that be the Pilgrims who sailed here in 1620 or my parents, who came over and started from nothing. Challenges and new experiences are part of American history. Starting from nothing and building something despite that is part of American history, and it is certainly part of my history and experience.
