Acknowledging our past is important because we have to recognize our history before we can move forward. Ignoring the problematic past doesn't mean that it didn't exist or that it didn't have long-term consequences. The past that we're not proud of should be talked about; we shouldn't pretend it never happened as it contributes to how our country is shaped today. I absolutely loved the musical! The choreography, the songs, the vocals, the cast representation, everything was amazing! It was a unique experience and probably one of the best things I've had the chance to witness.
