Declaration of Independence was created in 1776, it was created to show why the 13 colonies separated from Great Britain. It started a new nation between them. The declaration made the idea that all men are created equal and gave people happiness and the right to life. Even after so long, the declaration is still so important in our history today. The declaration today helps our democracy when it is under pressure. It is as relevant today as ever.
