First of all, going to see this play on our grade's field trip was awesome! My favorite part was how much diversity was in the cast, who all did amazing jobs and me and my friends couldn't stop talking about them. I'm transgender, and seeing so many different kinds of people on stage was really inspiring. It also shed a lot of light on some of the darker aspects of the signing of the Declaration of Indepedence, a lot of which isn't really taught in school. I think that it's really important that kids learn about every part of our history, even the parts people don't like to talk about. Thanks!
