For starters, just wanted to tell you that the musical was absolutely terrific! I would totally watch it again.
1. My story will not have much of a part in American history, due to the lack of impact that I currently have.
2. In creating the Declaration of Independence, what mattered was that everyone was all in on the idea together.
3. Our history is embarrassing and should be faced, nothing good can come out of us turning away from what is true and has already happened.
4. An honest reckoning with our past can help us move forward by facing our mistakes so that it won’t happen again.
