I wanted to start off by saying that I watched your show "1776," and I was touched and inspired by it. It made me think about the grounds on which this country was made and how this affected the rest of American history. The documents that our country was founded on were made by humans who make mistakes and cannot tell what is to come. They do not represent our country today, and this is all the more reason they should be revised. We should think of this history as a problem to be solved. If we acknowledge our past, we can learn from the mistakes people have made and improve our country.
