To hold history as a predicament versus an affirming myth we have to really dive deep into what went on “behind the scenes”. To view history as how it really was, difficult and unpleasant, we have to see the truth in history and what really happened. I think that the play, 1776 did a really good job of explaining history as a predicament, this is one of the reasons that the play was so good.
