We can hold this history as a predicament by acknowledging the problem and holding it accountable. We can also include people who were underrepresented by the Constitution and Declaration of Independence as part of this story. This is what the musical 1776 achieved. They included people of color, women, and queer people in the story when they weren't originally. This will allow them to be part of the story. Once we do this, everybody can be included in the laws and in the foundation of the country. Thank you for the musical, it was really great!
