Peanut Butter Pie

From the Kitchen of: Madame Szawga

 

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup peanut butter

  • 1 cup 10x sugar

  • 2 egg yolks

  • ½ tsp. vanilla

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 tbsps. butter

  • ⅔ cup sugar

  • ¼ cup cornstarch

  • Pie shell

Directions:

  1. Mix peanut butter and 10x sugar together until well blended.

  2. Place half of mixture in bottom of baked pie shell.

  3. Scald milk + butter, add sugar + cornstarch. Cook until thick.

  4. Add egg yolks + vanilla.

  5. Pour on peanut butter mixture.

  6. Cover with meringue + sprinkle with remaining peanut butter mixture.
