We look forward to welcoming you to the Loeb Drama Center. We are continually adapting our COVID-19 protocols based on current disease dynamics and CDC, state, local, and Harvard guidelines. Please review the details in full to prepare for your visit. These policies apply to all audience members of all ages.
Masking Encouraged
Everyone is encouraged to wear a well-fitted mask that fully covers their nose and mouth at all times within our venues. While masking is optional and no longer required, we recommend wearing an N95, KN95, or KF94 mask, or double-masking.
Vaccination and Testing
While vaccinations and testing are no longer generally required for admission, certain special seating, such as those in close proximity to actors, may require proof of a negative test result. More information will be shared about this requirement in the process of purchasing those seats.
When to Stay at Home
If you or someone in your party is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (such as fever, a sore throat, chills, cough, shortness of breath, congestion, nausea, or vomiting) at the time of your performance or has been exposed to COVID-19, please contact TicketServices@amrep.org to exchange your tickets (subject to availability). We will be happy to help you and appreciate you keeping fellow audience members, artists, and staff safe.
Seating and Concessions
As allowed by current guidelines, audience members will not be required to physically distance within the theater. Concessions may be available at the venue to be consumed in the lobby, outdoor patio, and the theater. We encourage wearing a mask when not actively eating or drinking.
Cleaning and Ventilation
We have increased frequency of cleaning of high-touch surfaces and high-trafficked spaces. We have also improved ventilation by upgrading our air filtration system to a MERV 13 rating in consultation with the Healthy Buildings Program at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health.
Stay Informed
COVID-19 protocols for attendance will be communicated to you in advance of your performances. Please read all pre-show correspondences for up-to-date information and forward them to others in your party.
Please Note: These policies are subject to changes based on current disease dynamics. While audience, artist, and staff safety is a priority at the A.R.T., risks to health and safety, including but not limited to the COVID-19 virus, are inherent anywhere where people gather. By attending an event presented or produced by the A.R.T., you voluntarily assume all risks related to attending the event, including exposure to COVID-19. Ticket holders who do not comply with venue policies will not be admitted.
We are grateful to our audiences for their partnership in preventing the spread of infection and keeping our community healthy. We look forward to seeing you at the theater.
