Our award-winning Education and Community Programs provide an unprecedented level of access to A.R.T. artists and productions.
We believe a great arts experience doesn't begin and end at the theater door. Through subsidized tickets to A.R.T. productions, mentoring opportunities, private performances, innovative theater workshops, artist talks and more, the A.R.T. is dedicated to expanding the community's engagement with great theater.
The Education Experience connects A.R.T. season productions with your classroom through custom-built enrichment programming. Learn more about the workshops, field trips and artist visits offered by the A.R.T.

For the Community
Community Connections is a season-long partnership between the A.R.T. and local non-profit organizations, dedicated to uncovering new connections between the arts and essential services across Greater Boston. Learn more about our award-winning access and community engagement programs.
The A.R.T.'s creative theater class, Fairy Tale Theater, offers a hands-on theatermaking experience for children aged 5-9. Fairy Tale Theater runs for 8-week sessions on Saturday mornings in the fall and spring.
The American Repertory Theater is also the home of one of the country's top graduate training programs for theater professionals. The A.R.T. Institute for Advanced Theater Training is a five-semester program conferring MFA degrees in Acting, Dramaturgy & Theater Studies, and Voice & Speech.
