Our world has received a terminal diagnosis. It’s not looking good. Now, in the wake of this really, really bad news, what are we supposed to do? Deny, get angry, blame yourself, blame everyone else. Cry. Maybe there’s a cure? Let someone else take care of her, because, like, you literally can’t deal with this right now, you’re crazy busy. Maybe all of this is a lie.

12 high school students from across Greater Boston have collaborated with A.R.T. artists and Harvard scholars over the past eight weeks. After school, they have explored the very urgent concept of “environmental crisis,” and created a theater piece inspired by their discoveries.

Proclamation 3: World Sick is the wail of a generation that might be around to see the end of the world. They’ve been told as much. And what they tell us back is funny, scary, moving, feverish and inexplicably joyful. Proclamation 3: World Sick is an original devised theater piece that you must not miss. You may not have time.
