News From Across The Pond: Wild Swans Workshop!
October 6, 2011

The epic, tragic, heart-wrenching memoir that is Wild Swans comes to life on-stage for the first time this March, at the A.R.T.  Jung Chang's story of three generations of women caught in the chaos of Mao's China is being adapted by a right brilliant creative team from across the pond-- director Sacha Wares, designer Miriam Buether, adaptor Alexandra Wood and video artist Wang Gong Xin.  Smashing!

Wares led a group of theater students in an exploratory workshop on staging some of the rally scenes from the novel-- check out the photos below.

A.R.T. members can buy their tickets to Wild Swans now!  Opens 2/15.
