Nicole Talbot

Nicole Talbot is 15-year old transgender actress with about 35 roles to her credit, including A Year with Frog and Toad (Ensemble & Youth Understudy), Fiddler on the Roof (Sphrintze), A Christmas Carol (Young Scrooge), Alice in Wonderland, Jr. (Daisy), Peter Pan (Michael Darling), Les Misérables (Gavroché), Willy Wonka (Charlie Bucket), Shrek: The Musical (Young Shrek/White Rabbit), Macbeth (Fléance) and Honk, Jr. (Bullfrog), among others.

Nicole has trained with Denise Simon of New York City and Kristopher Kyer of Los Angeles, Michael LaFleur and at Walnut Hill School for the Arts, The Hanover Theatre, Academy Players of Rhode Island, Stadium Theater, Steps Off Broadway, and Performing Arts Connection. She receives vocal training from Robert Marks of New York City, Eva Kendrick of Medfield, Mass. and Joshua Lawson of Whitinsville, Mass. and dance training at Jo Ann Warren Studios of Worcester, Mass. She plays Young Larissa in the award-winning web series "Family Problems" and has also appeared in several student films. Nicole was the winner of the Academy Idol vocal competition in April 2015 and a finalist in both Boston’s Got Voices in January 2016 and New England's Got Talent in September 2015. She was selected to perform as part of the Central Massachusetts District Junior Chorus in 2016.

Nicole is transgender and transitioned to living authentically as female in February 2015. She is a passionate advocate for transgender youth and has recently met with Massachusetts lawmakers, including Governor Charlie Baker, in support of legislation that is now law and that prohibits discrimination of transgender people in public accommodations such as theaters, museums, hospitals, public transportation, restaurants and other public spaces. In addition, she and her mother hosted a legislative "Meet and Greet" with transgender families to increase awareness and understanding of the unique challenges faced by the transgender community. She also participated in a documentary with Massachusetts Senator Michael Moore about what it's like to be a transgender teen.
