Derby Pie

From the Kitchen of: Kathy Rudder

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups sugar

  • 6 tbsp. flour

  • 6 eggs, beaten

  • 1 ½ cups melted butter

  • ⅓ cup bourbon

  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips

  • 1 ½ cups walnuts

  • pie shell of your choice

Directions:

  1. Form pie crusts (or just use a frozen one).

  2. Place chocolate chips all over the bottom of the crust to cover

  3. Combine all other ingredients in a large bowl, divide between crusts.

  4. Bake at 350° for 30-45 mins.
