Kugel (Noodle Pudding)

From the Kitchen of: Caroline Levy via Auntie Marcia’s Recipe

Ingredients:

• 16 oz. egg noodles, cooked

• 8 oz. cream cheese

• 16 oz. cottage cheese

• 16 oz. sour cream

• 1 cup apple sauce

• 1 ½ sticks butter

• 1 cup sugar

• 2 tsp. vanilla

• 1 tsp. salt

• 1 tbsp cinnamon

• 6 eggs (beaten)

• ½ cup golden raisins

• Topping (optional)

  • 1 stick butter, melted

  • 1 cup corn flakes crumbs

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

1. Put drained noodles back in hot pot.

2. Melt butter in the noodles.

3. Add all ingredients and stir.

4. Put in large casserole.

5. Bake for 1 hr. uncovered at 350 degrees.

6. For topping: mix up ingredients and spoon on top before baking.
