Lavendar Lemon Pound Cake

From the Kitchen of: Barbara Elfman

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cake flour

  • ½ tsp. baking powder

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • 1 cup butter

  • 2 cups sugar

  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp. lemon zest

  • 1 tbsp lavender flowers

  • 4 eggs

Directions:

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  2. Cream sugar + butter.

  3. Add in eggs one at a time. Add lemon juice. Fold in lavender + lemon zest.

  4. Pour into greased & floured 10 cup bundt pan.

  5. Bake at 325° for 50-60 mins.

  6. Serve with fresh berries.
