Mom & Dad’s Apple Pie

Ingredients:

Crust:

2 cups flour
-
1 tsp. salt
-
1 cup crisco
-
½ cup water
-

Filling:
-
3-4 cups cut up apples
-
2 tsp. cinnamon
-
2 tsp. lemon juice
-
½ cup flour
-
½ cup sugar
-
Directions:
-
Mix together crust ingredients and press into a ball. Refrigerate until cold.

Roll out ½ dough and line pie pan.
-
Sprinkle filling ingredients with flour and sugar and put into crust.
-
Dot with 2 tbsp. butter cut up.
-
Cover with the rest of crust, placed in criss-cross lattice.
-
Crimp edges.
-
Brush with milk.
-
Sprinkle with mix of cinnamon & sugar.
- Bake @ 350 degrees ~50 min.
