Political Unity Pie (Red States! Blue States! Go with both!)

Ingredients:

3 cups blueberries

2 cups cranberries

¾ cup sugar
-
¼ cup flour
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
¼ tsp. nutmeg
-
dash of salt
-
9” pie crust
-
extra crust for decorations
Directions:

Preheat oven to 400.

Coarsely chop cranberries.

Mix sugars, flour, nutmeg & salt.

Mix berries in large bowl.
-
Add sugar mixture & stir to coat.
-
Let sit 10 minutes.

Put fruit in pie crust.

Top w/ pie crust stars or other top crust.

Bake 50 minutes.
