Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients:

Crust:

1 egg
-
5-7 oz. spaghetti
-
⅓ cup parmesan cheese
-

Filling
-
½ jar spaghetti sauce
-
5 oz. can tomato paste
-
¼ cup minced onion
-
½ minced green pepper
-
1 lb. ground beef
-
1 cup cottage cheese
-
1 cup mozzarella cheese
-
Directions:

Cook spaghetti per box instructions. Drain.

Mix with egg and parmesan. Put in greased pie pan, molding up the sides like a pie crust.

Smear about cottage cheese over crust.

Brown ground beef with green pepper and onion.

Add mixture of paste and sauce; stir.

Pour into spaghetti crust and bake 20-25 minutes till crust is golden.
- Add mozzarella cheese and bake an additional 3-5 mins till cheese is melted.
