A.R.T. Community Cookbook: Swedish Apple Pie

Swedish Apple Pie

 

Directions:

  1. Fill an ungreased 9 in. pie pan (glass) ⅔ full of peeled, sliced apples (I use Empire, Courtland or MacIntosh)

  2. Sprinkle with a mixture of 1 tbsp. sugar & 1 tsp. cinnamon

  3. In a medium bowl, combine ½ cup melted butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 1 egg and 1 tsp. of vanilla.

  4. Spoon batter over apples.

  5. Bake @ 350 for 45 min. or until golden brown.

  6. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

  7. Enjoy!
