BIOGRAPHY

Aliza Eaves

Aliza Eaves, originally from Miami, FL, began singing in church and continued to nurture the talent and passion that was gifted to them from primary school through their senior year. Performing in musicals and even competing, she furthered her commitment to being a lifelong musician. This led her to an undergraduate degree at Berklee in Performance, Business & Education, and now a master’s degree in Music Education. She aspires to work in higher education, specifically within the realm of administration and curriculum development. Her insight as a lifelong student and Black American teacher and vocalist allows her to innovate new ideas that positively affect the lives of her students and their communities. As a performer, she has released original music (garden by Aliza, on all platforms) and hopes to have the opportunity to tour independently and perform on Broadway. Heavily influenced by Black American jazz, pop, and R&B, she aims to utilize their impact through her own music and performances. Her experiences as a student and educator, along with the people around her, continue to inspire her every day.
