David Massillon

David Massillon is a Haitian-American photographer and visual storyteller based in Lynn, Massachusetts, with deep roots in Boston. His work centers on human connection and the quiet beauty of nature, captured through a candid, timeless lens. Introduced to photography by his beloved high school arts teacher, Deborah Vandermolen, David went on to build his own photography business, specializing in wedding photography and heartfelt storytelling, preserving moments that might otherwise go unseen. His work has taken him across the United States and internationally, including Jamaica, England, and Canada. Beyond his professional work, David is actively involved in his community, volunteering with the Change Creators at Castle Square Tenants, where he encourages teens to be bold, expressive, and confident in their creative voices. His artistic style is exemplified in pieces such as “A Touch of Grace,” which was featured in Echoes of Belonging at the Pitcher Goff House in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. When he’s not behind the camera, David enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to church hymns, and searching for the best ice cream around.
