Effie Johnson
Effie Johnson (The Provok'd Wife) appeared on Broadway in A Moon for the Misbegotten; Off-Broadway in Pink (Summer Play Festival); Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake, Crumble, Demon Baby, and U.S. Drag (Clubbed Thumb); and Naked Will (P.S. 122), among others. Regional credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice—Drammy Award), Portland Center Stage; the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis; Syracuse Stage; Virginia Stage Company; Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Film and Television: Law and Order SVU, One Life to Live, As the World Turns, Delivery (acting award from NYU's First Run Film Festival). Wrote and directed a short film entitled Enter Dogmaville.
