Jeff Forbes
Jeff Forbes (No Exit) is a Portland, Oregon–based lighting designer working primarily in theater and dance. He is a nine-time winner of the Willie and Drammy awards for theater, for such companies as Storefront Theatre, Artists Repertory Theatre, Tygres Heart Shakespeare, Imago Theatre, and the Musical Theatre Company. Has also designed for Portland Repertory Theatre, Portland Center Stage, the New Rose Theatre, and many others. He also tours nationally and internationally with Imago's production of FROGZ as lighting designer and stage manager, and as technical director/lighting designer for the Deborah Hay Dance Company. His work in dance and performance includes frequent collaborations with choreographers such as Mary Oslund, Josie Moseley, Linda Austin, Cydney Wilkes, Linda K Johnson, Drew Pisarra, Sally Silvers, and Do Jump! Movement Theatre. He is a co-founder, with Linda Austin, of Performance Works NW, for which he also serves as technical director.
