BIOGRAPHY

JO Welch

JO Welch (she/her) is a first-generation American, the child of Colombian parents. She grew up in the marginalized space between Latinx and American cultures and is influenced by her commitment to the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing communities. In 1993, she began her performing arts work with Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing communities, on- and backstage. JO has the honor of working in theaters including Broadway In Boston, A.R.T., Yale Rep, and Signature Theater. Please note this show has a Latinx and POC interpreting team and DASLs!
