BIOGRAPHY
Marie-Christine Fournier

Born in Quebec City, Marie-Christine discovered her passion for acrobatics at the age of 15 when she began competing in artistic gymnastics. At the age of 20, she entered the École de cirque de Québec to continue her artistic development, where she participated in professional training in circus arts as a generalist acrobatic flyer, specializing in fixede duo trapeze. After 2 years of training, she was recruited by Cirque du Soleil at the age of 22. She began her career as a trapeze artist and toured internationally with Cirque du Soleil for nearly a decade. She also had the opportunity to work on various projects around the world in the cabaret scene in Europe and Australia, as well as experience the beautiful local scene here in Montreal, Canada with renowned companies such as Cirque Eloize and The 7 Fingers. It was in 2022 that she had the opportunity to perform in her first production with The 7 Fingers, My Island My Heart. Since then, she has had the pleasure of working with them on various projects and is now excited to join the cast of Passengers in Boston this summer!
