BIOGRAPHY

Marin Orlosky Randow

Modern Flex Training (A2)

Marin Orlosky Randow graduated from Harvard University with a BA in English and a Secondary Field in Dramatic Arts. Her dance training includes the Joffrey Ballet School, The Ailey School, Trapeze School New York, and New York Circus Arts Academy. At Harvard, she performed with and choreographed for the Harvard Ballet Company, Harvard-Radcliffe Modern Dance Company, Harvard Contemporary Dance Ensemble, Dancers' Viewpointe, and numerous dance-theater productions. Works performed include Jose Limon's Choreographic Offering, Martha Graham's Heretic and Night Journey, plus original works by Ariel Bonilla, Jeff Shade, Michael Foley, Scott Rink, Jodi Leigh Allen, and Elizabeth Bergmann. A former member of FireFly Aerial Acrobatics and instructor at New York Circus Arts Academy, she has performed and taught aerial silks, partner acrobatics, flexibility training and contortion since 2006. She is also a certified Pilates instructor. Ms.Orlosky Randow has taught for the New York Circus Arts Academy, Cambridge Rindge & Latin School, the Bethezer Group (Nairobi, Kenya), Berklee College of Music, American College Dance Festival (ACDFA), and Harvard's Dance Program. In addition to teaching Modern Flex Training at the A.R.T. Institute, she also teaches aerial silks and ballet at Boston University. She recently performed Trisha Brown's installation work Floor of the Forest as part of the Boston ICA's Dance/Draw exhibition, and currently performs with Across the Ages Dance Project, an inter-generational modern dance collective, and DanceVisions, Inc., a contemporary ballet company of which she is Assistant Artistic Director.
