Mark Rubinstein
Multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer and producer; currently on staff of The Ohio State University School of Music. Mark Rubinstein has performed with Herbie Mann, Eddie Gomez, Bunky Green, Rufus Reid, Jim Allen, Dirk Hamilton and George Carver, and engineered or produced recordings with artists including Natalie Cole, Shirley Horn, Cher, Grover Washington, Jr., Judy Collins, Backstreet Boys and Buttercup. Mark served as accordionist in the original Weimarband, and was music director of The Blue Flower in New York in 2008. Recent credits include music direction for Jazz on Tap and Sole to Soul dance festivals, music recording work for the documentary A Bridge Life and short film Betrayed and the recording of a new album of music from The Blue Flower featuring the original members of the Weimarband.
