BIOGRAPHY

Megan M. Uebelacker

Ms. Uebelacker served as dramaturg on the American Repertory Theater's world premiere of Don DeLillo's Valparaiso, Martin McDonagh's The Cripple of Inishmaan, and as assistant dramaturg on Andrei Serban's production of The Merchant of Venice and Andre Belgrader's production of Molière's The Imaginary Invalid. She is in her second year at the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University, where her dramaturgical credits include a collaborative adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's Best Intentions with director Kate Whoriskey. Ms. Uebelacker also served as dramaturg for the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's 1998 production of As You Like It. During her time at the A.R.T., she also directed a workshop production of Franca Rame's The Rape, and performed in Harvard University's Lowell House Opera productions of Donizetti's The Elixir of Love and the world premiere of Yossele Solovey by Noam Elkies, for which she also served as assistant stage manager. Ms. Uebelacker holds a degree in english and theatre studies from Wellesley College.
