Sally Herbert

Sally Herbert is a celebrated composer, writer, producer and arranger who, over the past 25 years, has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including the likes of Radiohead,  Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran, Usher, Camilla Cabello, Woodkid and London Grammar.  She has created string and brass arrangements on all five of Florence & the Machine’s albums , and recently wrote orchestral arrangements for Rufus Wainwright’ s ‘Want 1 +2 symphonic performances, which debuted at The Albert Hall BBC proms last year. Sally’s arrangements range in instrumentation from strings, brass and vocals to full orchestras and span across genres. Sally has also worked with producers Nick Patrick and Don Reedman on posthumous albums for the likes of The Beach Boys, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley and Disney Classics with her arrangements performed by the The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sally herself. Notably last year, Sally conducted the London Symphony Orchestra for Floating Points’ Mercury shortlisted album Promises. As a composer, Sally  has written music for cinematic trailers, TV and film. Her credits include Disney’s Beauty & The Beast, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Dark Tower.
