Shani Dowd

A clinician with extensive experience treating a wide variety of cultural groups, Shani Dowd, BA, LHD(hc), LCSW is a frequent presenter at major teaching conferences. Ms. Dowd is currently a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the Boston University School of Medicine and at the Boston University Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology. Shani is a recipient of the Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa, from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, in acknowledgement of her work to bring quality mental health care to communities of color.
