Black Renaissance: A Celebration of Black Art

For Our Community

We believe that world-class theater should be accessible to everyone.

We are committed to expanding the boundaries of theater into our surrounding communities through relevant and socially engaging events, public dialogues, creative workshops, community partnerships, and more.

Community Connections

Through Community Connections partnerships, A.R.T. partners with Boston-area non-profit organizations, bringing high-quality arts experiences to families and individuals traditionally underserved by the arts. We work closely with our partner organizations to develop flexible and custom-built arts programming ranging from free community events around A.R.T. productions, creative workshops, and private artist talks.

We also partner with 501(c)3 non-profit organizations who seek to build bridges between communities through theater-going. We partner with organizations to provide subsidized tickets to constituents who frequently meet with social, economic, cultural, or geographic obstacles to arts participation.

For more information on community partnerships, contact the Education Department or call 617.496.2000 x 8891 to speak with the Education and Community Programs Manager. When contacting us, please include information about your organization, including the organization’s name, mission, and the constituents you serve. We look forward to hearing from you!
