Students in a workshop

For Teachers & Schools

We believe that an arts-integrated curriculum serves every student.

The A.R.T. Education Experience engages students by connecting our productions with classroom curriculum and students’ lives. In addition to inspiring creativity, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity in our community, we’re all about supporting teachers with free arts-integrated teaching tools, classroom visits, and discounted tickets to world-class theater at the A.R.T. A listing of our major educational offerings follows, but feel free to contact us for consultation on how to link your visit to the A.R.T. with your curriculum.

School Group Visits to A.R.T. Productions
All public K-12 schools qualify for $5 tickets. Student group tickets for independent schools and all colleges/universities are $15. All groups receive free access to curricular materials; a warm welcome at the theater; and attentive, skilled support from A.R.T. staff. Group pricing is valid for non-peak performances (all performances Tuesday through Thursday, plus Saturday matinees), and includes tickets for chaperones and comes without ticket processing fees.

A.R.T. staff and teaching artists develop custom workshops, classes, and residencies in collaboration with classroom teachers at low to no cost.

Professional Development
Looking to supplement your teaching with theater-based activities or techniques? We work with schools to facilitate professional development training around arts-integrated teaching, curriculum consultations, and connections to A.R.T. productions.
