White Rabbit Red Rabbit
“Playful, enigmatic, and haunting”
Charles Isherwood, The New York Times

Written by Nassim Soleimanpour
Starring Carissa Halston (Nov. 14), Jennifer Taschereau (Nov. 15), and Sam Cha (Nov. 16)

No rehearsals. No director. No set.
A different actor reads the script cold for the first time at each performance.

A metaphorical work by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour, WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT has been performed in many cities, but is always unique, thanks to Soleimanpour’s rules: Each night of the performance, the audience arrives to a stage set with only a script in a sealed envelope. Every night, a different actor takes the stage, opens the envelope, and reads the script aloud for the first—and last—time.
Join us in discovering the play no one is allowed to talk about.

"A dazzling, transcendent piece of alive-and-kicking theatre...I experienced a play that no one in the world will ever experience again...the whole building felt like it was living and breathing.”  — Entertainment Weekly

“A thoughtful, playful response to oppression.”  – The Guardian

“An eye-popping experience.” — Associated Press

"Playful, intimate, and engaging" — Newsday
