2017/18 Season Launch

Wednesday night A.R.T Donors, Board Members, Institutional Partners and friends fom the Harvard Community joined together with Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director, Diane Paulus, to dedicate the A.R.T’s newest season to Harvard President, Drew Faust. Along with remarkable support from patrons like you, President Faust’s commitment to making the arts a core part of Harvard life has allowed the A.R.T to reach even greater audiences with impactful theater than ever before.
After the heartwarming reception, guests enjoyed a world premiere performance of Rob Roth’s new play WARHOLCAPOTE, based on the true words of Andy Warhol and Truman Capote. The production has also served as the perfect unveiling of the A.R.T’s newest sound system, generously donated by Meyer Sound, with an incredible setup that tallies one speaker for every six audience members, offering a truly immersive aural experience.
We would like to offer our special thanks to Lizabeth Cohen, Radcliffe Dean and A.R.T Advisor, for graciously hosting this event for the sixth year in a row.
