A.R.T. Fairy Tale Theater Hits the Treetops this Fall!
AUG 22, 2013
Hi everyone!
In Fairy Tale Theater, the A.R.T.’s children’s creative theater-making class, there are two styles of class to choose from (one for children age 5-6, and the other for children age 7-9). The younger students will read and perform a new fairy tale every week, while the older students will work together to write and perform their own adaptation of The Light Princess by George MacDonald. We are offering a morning session and an afternoon session for EACH AGE GROUP!
And now…without any further ado…bring your hiking boots for…
FAIRY TALE THEATER: INTO THE WOODS!
In honor of The Heart of Robin Hood coming to us from the Royal Shakespeare Company this December, and the family musical The Light Princess opening at the same time, we’re embarking on a trek through the woods (not literally) to meet all the merry people, sleeping princesses and furry friends that frolic in nature.
Fairy Tale Theater Fall 2013 will run:
Eight Saturdays, October 19th – December 14th. There will be no class on November 30th due to Thanksgiving.
We will be offering another BONUS ROUND this year, by chaperoning the students to the premiere of The Light Princess on Saturday, December 21st. All students will receive a free ticket to The Light Princess, which can be used for the December 21st performance or any other performance during the run, subject to availability.
Tuition is $260 per child, due by the second week of class. The first week is a trial run to make sure that FTT is still right for your child!
