A.R.T. in N.Y.C.

A.R.T. in N.Y.C. is a new initiative created by A.R.T. Trustee (and Institute Alum) Kevin Cole Costin, to broaden support for the work of the A.R.T. and its significant contributions to the theater and performance world, and to celebrate works born at the A.R.T. in Cambridge and bound for New York. The inaugural event was held June 1.

Sleep No More premiered at the A.R.T. in 2009/10 as a major collaboration with the London-based theater company Punchdrunk as part of A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus’s first season. The critically acclaimed show received the Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Theatre Experience in Boston, and is now playing to sold-out crowds in New York. Sleep No Morereceived a special citation from the Obie Awards Committee was honored by the Drama League.
