On Thursday, August 16, A.R.T. and Hibernian Hall hosted Black Renaissance: A Celebration of Black Art in honor of influential Black voices and artistry that emerged from the Harlem Renaissance and beyond. The evening featured performances from Boston-based artists, a sneak peek of The Black Clown, a discussion with The Black Clown company members, and an open the mic for community remarks on the importance of black art and culture.
