Finding Neverland Opening Night Celebration

Wednesday, August 13 marked Opening Night for the world premiere musical, Finding Neverland. The post-show festivities began as soon as patrons exited into the lobby of the Loeb Drama Center and were handed flutes of celebratory champagne. Soon after, Diane Paulus stood to thank the creative team, the cast, and the show’s supporters. After a round of applause, Harvey Weinstein took his turn thanking members of The Weinstein Company, his supporters, and all involved with Finding Neverland. Diane, he said, had been among his favorite directors to work with, perhaps even rivaling Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese. Afterwards, the cast and creative team milled among the crowd, and a good time was had by all.
