Fresh Pond Podcast Plays are Live!

The Neighborhood Podcast Play Series kicks off with an awesome set of site-specific audioplays written and performed by Cambridge teenagers.  Download the set and go take a (theatrical) walk in the park!

This was a great collaboration with Creative Action Project, a program of Cambridge Community Services, and the Cambridge Water Department, who oversee the phenomenal Fresh Pond Reservation.  Did you know Fresh Pond is basically a giant impact crater from a falling glacier, thousands of years ago?  AND, did you know that Fresh Pond was the origin of the North American ice trade in the mid-19th century?  True story.

Next week, we’re going to Franklin Park to write some more Podcast Plays with teenagers from 826 Boston (also known as the Greater Boston Bigfoot Research Institute).  Keep your ears peeled…?
