Johnny Baseball Update: 4-26-2010

I was lucky enough to spend some time in New York at Johnny Baseball rehearsal at the end of last week…..The A.R.T. gang is housed for one more week in an airy studio on 42nd street (where lots of theatres rehearse; Marvin Hamlisch was having lunch near me…. ). The cast is amazing, and will try anything Diane can think of…. Over the course of the day, they rehearsed several major scenes, sang some of the songs, and I got a taste for what this lovely musical is going to look and sound like…. I had a blast….

Can’t wait for them to arrive next week…
